A Unit Strategic Plan Monitoring and Evaluation Process meeting was held at the Graduate School of Educational Sciences on 23 May 2024.

The meeting was chaired by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ramazan Bayındır, and was attended by our School Director Prof. Dr. Şaban Çetin, vice Directors Prof. Dr. Ayşe Yalçın Çelik, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yüksel, Corporate Data Management System Coordinator Prof. Dr. Fatih Emre Boran, Strategy Development Department Head Emre Çakır, Lecturer Dr. Zeynep Bumin Süzen, School Secretary Ceylan Yavuz Konuk and our faculty members who serve in our Graduate School Strategic Planning team Prof. Dr. Aytekin Albuz, Prof. Dr. Gülgün Alpan, Prof. Dr. Rabia Sarıkaya, Prof. Dr. Ayşe Dilek Öğretir Özçelik, Prof. Dr. Musa Sarı, Prof. Dr. Halil Çeltik, Res. Asst. Hatice Kara, Res. Asst. Ceylan Çakır Karagüç attended. The current status of the Graduate School was evaluated at the meeting and ideas were exchanged for the future.

At the meeting, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ramazan Bayındır provided information about what is expected from the units in the monitoring and evaluation processes of the strategic plans prepared by the units within the scope of the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan period.

Following the opening speeches of Prof. Dr. Ramazan Bayındır, Zeynep Bumin Süzen also provided information on the importance and method of strategic plan monitoring and evaluation studies. Stating that monitoring unit strategic plans in six-month periods is of great importance for planning the necessary measures and activities to ensure the year-end realization of the plans, Dr. Süzen provided information on the calculation method of performance indicators and target realizations in units and the issues to be considered when making evaluations at the target level.
