On Thursday, May 26, 2022, in Çubuk-Karagöl Nature Park, "Garbage Is Not Ours, But The World Is Ours!" social responsibility project was carried out by our Institute. The project was conducted by the Deputy Director of the Institute  Assoc. Dr. Ayşe Yalçın Çelik, Res. Assistant Büşra Güven and Res. Assistant Sıla Uzkul.  In addition, Gazi Education Faculty Chemistry Education Department faculty members Prof. Dr. Yuksel TUFAN and Assoc. Dr. Sevinç Nihal YEŞİLOĞLU also supported. Academics, administrative staff and students participated in the project. 

The aim of the project was to raise awareness about environmental problems and environmental pollution and to increase sensitivity towards the environment. Within the scope of the project, the  Deputy Director of the Institute Assoc. Dr. Ayşe Yalçın Çelik gave environmental training on environmental pollution and environmental problems. After the training, the event ended with the cleaning of the area in Çubuk-Karagöl Nature Park. Citizens who had a picnic in the region at that moment also showed interest in the cleaning of the region.
