ONLINE APPLICATION AND DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED (2021-2022 FALL SEMESTER)

► For technical problems related to application and final registration process: You may send an email to the adress egtbil@gazi.edu.tr  including identity number, department to be applied and the warning message related to system with a screen shot to have a quick solution.


► When creating an application in the system, it should be noted that the e-mail address to be defined is an actively used e-mail. In case of forgetting the password, incorrect application or in any case, the candidate will be contacted via this e-mail address.


► Online application areas for candidates are organized under 3 headings. Candidates should apply by paying attention to the relevant field.

• (Educational Sciences-TC) 21-22 Fall Semester Graduate Application

• (Educational Sciences-TRNC) 21-22 Fall Semester Graduate Application (Special Education MSc only)


► The photos uploaded to the system by our candidates must be passport-sized and biometric.


► Candidates should pay attention to the fact that the documents uploaded to the Application System should not be incomplete or incorrect. Since no additional documents will be requested during the final registration stage, all responsibility will belong to the candidate when an error/incompleteness is encountered in the documents checked in the final registration. Candidates must complete and approve their applications.


► Important Notice: Unapproved applications will not be taken into consideration. When the candidate makes any corrections or actions in his application, the application approval is automatically removed. Therefore, after each adjustment, the candidate must give approval for the application.


► Since the General Cumulative Grade Point Average drawn from YÖKSİS will be valid in the evaluation, it is of great importance that the GPAs of the candidates are up-to-date in YÖKSİS and that they should match the uploaded document. Otherwise, candidates should contact their universities and ensure that the necessary updates are done.


► For post-doctoral ALES Exemption:

When you reach the ALES heading in the system, you can proceed to the next menu by selecting Exemption Status: Doctorate Graduate and clicking Save and Proceed button. In the section of the documents, the front and back of your diploma instead of the ALES Certificate (the graduation certificate you will receive from e-government is also valid) should be submitted.



► Candidates of Turkish Citizens who graduated from universities abroad:

The candidates should send their TR Identity Number, Program Name, Higher Education Council Equivalency/Graduate Recognition Certificate, Diploma, Graduation Transcript and Certified Turkish Translations to egtbil@gazi.edu.tr to add their information related to their graduation into application system by graduate school.

After the institute's information entry; a) Equivalency Certificate/Graduate Recognition Certificate, Diploma-Certified Turkish Translation, b) Graduation Transcript-Certified Turkish Translation should be scanned together and added to the system in Pdf format. They must complete their application and approve it. 


 DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED TO THE SYSTEM

► APPLICATIONS TO NON-THESIS MASTER PROGRAMS

1. The front and back of your undergraduate diploma (the graduation certificate you will receive from e-government is also valid) or click for Conditional Registration Petition (For Graduates).

2. Undergraduate graduate transcript or current transcript if you have not graduated. (Must be barcoded or certified, sealed)

3. For male candidates, the military status document to be obtained from the e-government system.

4. The front and back sides of your identity card must be uploaded to the "identity document" section.

5. If the relevant program to be applied requires Pedagogical Formation, it must be uploaded.

► APPLICATIONS TO MASTER'S PROGRAMS WITH THESIS

1. The front and back of your undergraduate diploma (the graduation certificate you will receive from e-government is also valid) or click for Conditional Registration Petition (For Graduates).

2. Undergraduate transcript or current transcript if you have not graduated. (Must be barcoded or certified, sealed)

3. ALES or GRE/GMAT result document that has not expired for 5 years (if you have a GRE/GMAT score, you must write the ALES score type equivalent of this to the system and you must upload your exam result document to the "Exam document equivalent to ALES") NOTE: Post-doctoral ALES exemption: For this field, the front and back of your diploma (the graduation certificate you get from e-government is also valid)

4. Foreign language certificate (YDS/e-YDS/YÖKDİL is valid for 5 years, the validity period of TOEFL IBT is 2 years.) (if you have a score from one of the exams whose equivalence is accepted by ÖSYM other than YDS/e-YDS/YÖKDİL, You need to write your grade as YDS score type to the system. Moreover, you need to upload your exam result document in the "YDS equivalent exam document" section)

5. For male candidates, the military status document to be obtained from the e-government.

6. The front and back sides of your identity card must be uploaded to the "identity document" section.

7. If the relevant program requires Pedagogical Formation, it must be uploaded.

► APPLICATIONS TO DOCTORAL PROGRAMS

1. Front and back of your undergraduate diploma (Graduation certificate from e-government is also valid)

2. Undergraduate transcript (must be barcoded or certified, stamped)

3. Front and back of your Master's diploma (E-government graduation certificate is also valid)

4. Graduate transcript (must be barcoded or certified, stamped)

5. Document including ALES or GRE/GMAT result that has not expired for 5 years (if you have a GRE/GMAT score, you must write the ALES score type equivalent of it to the system and you must upload your exam result document to the "Exam document equivalent to ALES"). NOTE: For the post-doctoral ALES exemption, the front and back of your diploma in this field (the graduation certificate you will receive from e-government is also valid)

6. To the Attention of our Foreign National Candidates: ALES and Foreign Language Requirements will not be requested in the applications. Required Bachelor GPA is 2.3 for the masters applications; and required Master’s GPA is 2.5 for the PhD applications (according to the Higher Education Council -YÖK- GPA Conversion Table). Placement Success Score will be calculated based on GPA scores only. A minimum B2 level document obtained from Gazi University TÖMER or a document approved by Gazi University TÖMER.

►► Gazi University International Student Admission Directive Article 11-(2): The candidate applying to the graduate program must certify that he has at least B2 level Turkish proficiency in the Turkish proficiency exam held within the framework of the principles determined by the Gazi University TÖMER Directorate before pre-registration. Candidates who do not have at least B2 level Turkish proficiency certificate are registered to the related graduate program. For students whose Turkish level is not sufficient, one year is allowed for the Turkish preparatory course at Gazi University TÖMER and this period is not included in the maximum duration of the relevant program. The registration of the candidate who does not submit his/her document for any reason other than the excuses specified in Gazi University's Right and Valid Causes Directive within the specified period is cancelled. Candidates who do not have a Turkish proficiency certificate should notify to graduate school via e-mail egtbil@gazi.edu.tr.
