Applications for Graduate Student Admission (2022-2023 Spring Semester)

Students will be admitted to our graduate programs in the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year. Applications and final registrations will be online and the documents requested during the application will be uploaded to the system by our candidate students.

 

Before applying, it is important to carefully examine the pages and other announcements under the headings of Important dates, General Application Conditions, Quota and Special Conditions, Evaluation, Online Application and Documents to be Uploaded.

18-19 January 2023 Scientific Evaluation Exams and Submission of Minutes to the Institute

27 January 2023 Announcement of final registration for successful applicants

30 January – 07 February 2023 Online final registration of those placed in the programs (including international students) (the original and alternate dates will be announced)

20 February 2023 STARTING OF SPRING SEMESTER COURSES

Candidates who do not register on the announced dates will lose their registration rights. Please follow our website as dates may change.

 

To the Attention of International Students:

 

►► ALES and Foreign Language Conditions will not be required in applications; (According to the Higher Education Council Grade Conversion Table) Undergraduate CGPA for our Master's Programs is 2.3, and for our Doctorate Programs is 2.5. Quota for foreign students announced is the quota of foreign nationals who study with their own means. There will be no entrance exam for foreign student quotas, their evaluation and ranking are done internally. You should review our University's directive on the subject. ►► Our University's International Student Admission Directive Article 11-(2): The candidate applying to the graduate program must certify that s/he has at least B2 level Turkish proficiency in the Turkish proficiency exam held within the framework of the principles determined by the Gazi University TÖMER Directorate before pre-registration. Candidates who do not have at least B2 level Turkish proficiency certificate are registered to the related graduate program but they whose Turkish level is not sufficient, are requiered to take one year for the Turkish preparatory course at Gazi University TÖMER and this period is not included in the maximum duration of the relevant program. The registration of the candidate who does not submit his/her document for any reason other than the excuses specified in Gazi University's Right and Valid Causes Directive within the specified period will be deleted.

 

►► Except for candidates who have a certificate from Gazi University TÖMER, apply to Gazi University TÖMER (https://tomer.gazi.edu.tr/) for the following situations:

 

Candidates who do not have TÖMER Certificate (Turkish Proficiency Certificate),

International candidates whose graduation is from Turkey,

Candidates who want to have their Turkish Proficiency Certificate obtained from outside our university,

► Since detailed information and possible changes regarding the student admission process to the Graduate Programs will be announced on the web address of the Graduate School, it is crucial to follow these pages regularly. Responsibility for missing documents and false statements belongs to the candidate. In this case, the registration of the candidate will be canceled even if the registration has been taken.

Important Notes Regarding Online Application System

 

Photo Upload: A passport photo with biometric feature in .jpg format should be uploaded. (Photos uploaded to the system are used for ID card printing)

Identity Information: Fill in the required fields paying attention to the explanations.

Contact Information: Correspondence via e-mail is of an official nature. It is important to use the e-mail address that is actively used while registering to the system during the application. If the password is forgotten, it will be forwarded to the relevant e-mail address. In any case the candidate will be contacted via this e-mail address or the phone number entered.

Exam Information (ALES and YDS): International students are not requiered to submit Ales and Yds exam infromation.

Graduation Information: Diplomas, Graduation Transcripts and Certified Turkish Translations must be uploaded in Pdf format.

Documents: Documents must be clear and readable. Both sides of the documents must be uploaded to the system in Pdf format. Candidates should pay attention to the fact that the documents they upload to the Application System are not incomplete or inaccurate. Since no additional documents will be requested during the final registration stage, all responsibility will belong to the candidate when an error/incompleteness is encountered in the documents checked in the final registration.

Program Applied: Procedures for evaluation of each program is calculated independently of each other. In the graduate applications of our Graduate School, it is not possible to apply to more than one graduate program with thesis at the same time, except for the non-thesis master's programs.

Control and Approval Process: Unapproved applications will not be evaluated. WARNING: When the candidate makes any corrections or actions in his application, the application approval is automatically removed. Therefore, after each adjustment, the candidate must give approval for the application.
