ACCEPTANCE OF APPLICATIONS WITHIN THE SCOPE OF PROVISIONAL ARTICLE 83 (STUDENT AMNESTY)

Scope:

Provided that the relation is terminated before 05.07.2022,

Those who were dismissed for whatever reason;

(Except for those who are sentenced because of terrorism within the scope of the Anti-Terror Law No. 3713 dated 12/4/1991 by universities, deliberate killing (articles 81, 82 and 83), torture (articles 94 and 95) in the Turkish Penal Code dated 26/9/2004 and numbered 5237, being convicted of crimes of torture (article 96), sexual assault (article 102), sexual abuse of children (article 103), manufacture and trade of drugs or stimulants (article 188) or acts written in article 71 of the Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works, and those who are dismissed due to their membership, affiliation or affiliation with terrorist organizations or structures, formations or groups determined by the National Security Council to be operating against the national security of the State, or because they registered using false or untrue documents,

 ►Those who do not register even though they have won the graduate program;

In order to benefit from the law, they can apply until the end of the working day of 07.11.2022.

2. Criminal Record Registration (Can be obtained via e-Government within the last week)

Candidates with a criminal record must submit detailed documents.

3. Copy of Identity Card (Copy of passport for foreign nationals)

4. 3 passport size photos

 Applications can be made to the relevant Institute in person or through the person to whom a notarized power of attorney is given. Applications made by other means like e-mail, cargo, document pass (fax) etc. will not be considered.

Applications will be received until the end of the working hours on 07 November 2022 and the candidates must submit their applications before the end of the working hours on 09 September 2022 in order to start their education in the 2022-2023 Academic Year Fall Semester. Candidates who apply after this date will start their education in the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year.

 Evaluation of Applications:

Applications of candidates with complete application documents are taken into consideration. Evaluation is made by the relevant commissions, taking into account issues such as whether the application conditions are met, the courses and semesters that the student will be responsible for. The proposals of the commissions are discussed and decided by the Institute Executive Boards.

Adaptation Provisions:

• All students who are entitled to enroll within the scope of Temporary Article 83 are subject to the current regulation.

• Students whose registrations are canceled during the course phase in the master's and doctorate programs are adjusted according to the current curriculum.

• Adaptation of students whose registration has been canceled during the qualification phase will be made to the qualification phase.

• Students who have passed the proficiency stage will not take the proficiency exam again.

• Students who are in the Thesis Period are adjusted to the "Thesis Period/Thesis Study" regardless of the stage they have recorded in the thesis in the previous semesters.

• Students who have the right to enroll in the doctoral program and cannot meet the foreign language requirement specified in the 5th paragraph of the 16th article of the Higher Education Council Postgraduate Education Regulation, except for their mother tongue, must meet the 55-point requirement mentioned in the relevant Regulation within 2 semesters. Regardless of whether the student has registered for the course or not, students who do not meet the minimum language requirement within 2 semesters are dismissed from the Institute.

• In the appointment of the advisor to the student who has been adjusted for the thesis period, the student's preference is taken into consideration, and the decision is made by the Academic Committee of the relevant Department and the Graduate School Administrative Board.

• Whether the courses taken and successfully completed in the past will be counted are indicated in the adjustments. Adaptations of students who are successful in the courses they have taken are made by counting the ECTS credits of the courses equivalent to the courses taken.

• Adaptation procedures are evaluated by the relevant commissions of the department and decided by the institute board of directors.

Maximum time and Contributions:

In accordance with the Law on the Amendment of the Civil Servants Law No. 7417 and Some Laws and the Decree Law No. 375 and the Temporary Article 83 added to the Higher Education Law No. 2547, the maximum period of time for students who return to higher education institutions and enroll in higher education starts from the date of enrollment. The duration of the program is calculated according to the provisions of the Presidential Decision Regarding the Determination of Tuition Fees and Contributions to be Taken as Student Contribution to the Current Service Costs in Higher Education Institutions in the 2022-2023 Education and Education Year.

In cases where there is no provision in these procedures and principles, the provisions of the relevant legislation and the decisions of the Institute Administrative Board and Senate are applied.

In case of hesitation encountered in applications; in line with the principles published by the Council of Higher Education, the relevant Institute Board of Directors Decisions are valid. If additional principles are sent by the Council of Higher Education, our University will make a reorganization.
